CallScreen Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2025-10-26
1. Information We Collect
CallScreen processes screen captures locally on your device to detect potential scam calls. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, call data, application usage statistics or screen captures to external servers.
CallScreen sends bug reports and application crash analytics to improve our service. Users may opt out of this service in the application settings. These reports contain no personally identifiable information.
2. Data Storage
All analysis results and session history are stored locally on your device. To manage storage, CallScreen keeps only the 100 most recent sessions, which you can delete at any time through the Settings page.
3. Permissions
CallScreen requires certain permissions for core functionality:
- Notification Access - to detect incoming calls
- Draw Over Other Apps - to display scam warnings
- Post Notifications - to alert you of detected potential scams
- Screen Capture - to analyse visible video calls for potential scam indicators
More details about each permission and its purpose are provided in the Onboarding Guide under the Help → How-to Guides section.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Play Billing to manage in-app purchases. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for information about their data practices.
5. Your Rights
You can delete all CallScreen data at any time through your device settings or within the app's Settings page. All permissions granted to CallScreen can be revoked at any time via your device's system settings.
CallScreen adheres to the principles of data minimisation, purpose limitation, and user control, consistent with GDPR and Google Play Developer Policies.
